ABOUT PAULETTA DE LUCIA

Black and White Photography of Flowers, ©Pauletta De Lucia

Pauletta De Lucia is a multi-disciplinary visual artist, web designer, and content creator. She has a life-long passion for the arts and is committed to utilizing art and design to serve causes and her community. As part of that commitment, since 2018, she has served on the governing board of a regional not-for-profit arts organization, Connecticut Women Artists, Inc., as the web designer and content creator for the organization's website.

To fulfill her passion for working as a visual designer, she launched De Lucia Creative, LLC in 2021. Her website design and consulting services enterprise for artists and creatives have earned her kudos from the arts community.

She received a B.A. from Southern Connecticut State University and studied art, design, and photography at the University of Bridgeport, where she received an A.A. She attained certification in New York University's Digital Marketing program and certification from the Project Management Institute in Project Management for Creative Projects.

Her artistic medium of choice is digital photography, her subjects primarily botanical, rendered in the classic black and white genre. She exhibits her well-received work in regional and national juried exhibits throughout Connecticut and New York City. The National Association of Women Artists, Inc., a long-established professional artists' organization located in New York City, recently elected her to their membership.

She has been a lifelong practitioner of hatha yoga from a very early age, and a student of qigong in the water tradition. Her many interests include an affinity for the natural world, which is primary in her life, and she frequently hikes and explores Connecticut's shoreline, and countryside. She resides in her native state of Connecticut, in picturesque New England, the Northeastern region of the United States.
